COSTA MESA, CA (09.21.22) – PowerBass headed back the Sand Sports Super Show 2022 in Costa Mesa for the the West Coast’s largest Powersports event. The event, at the Orange County Fair and Event Center September 16-18, was packed with enthusiasts from all over the US.
The PowerBass 40’x30’ booth stayed busy all weekend as staff members on hand answered questions and helped consumer get the best set up for their UTV’s and other off-road vehicles. In the booth a loaded PowerBass UTV was busy with demos throughout the event. Product displays showcased PowerBass products and new Bluetooth speakers were spotlighted on the country.

Of course a great PowerBass event wouldn’t be complete without the lovely ladies of PowerBass Sarah and Athena in the booth who met attendees with smiles as they entered the booth to check out all of the amazing products on display.

Sarah showed the new portable Bluetooth speakers and had freebies for attendees in the booth.
Erik Harbour related “Our best selling take with products at the event were portable speakers and we gave away hats, tool bags and backpacks.”
Continuing Harbour offered “We want to thank all who stopped by the booth and big thanks to those that took home some great PowerBass gear for their rides! Special thanks to all of our dealers in attendance and those selling at the show, customers said they were seeing PowerBass from the front of the show to the back! The XL-50 V2 series sound bars were the hit of the show with the XL-1250 and XL-850 being the #1 sellers amongst all audio products at the show! We hope you all had a successful year at this year’s event and thank you for your support.” Erik Harbour, PowerBass VP of Product Development and Global Marketing, stated.

COSTA MESA, CA (09.20.22) – KICKER returned with a truckload of fun to the world’s biggest sand-sports event – the West Coast’s annual Sand Sports Super Show. The Orange County Fair and Event Center played host to the event Friday thru Sunday September 16th-18th.
The KICKER presence extended well past the length of a football field.
KICKER arrived with its 83-foot rolling showroom – the XRV tractor-trailer, along with four custom side-by-sides equipped with KICKER powersports gear that were parked under the awning in the expansive KICKER area. The XRV trailer itself displayed the complete line of KICKER audio gear with space for several show-quality vehicles under its awning, including vehicles by Uncensored Motorsports and a Murfco-owned UTV, built by Morgan Motorsports. Showgoers found the XRV by the East entrance.

Tracy Focht, KICKER Western Regional was on site and related, “The KICKER team on site made it happen as all worked together. Jeremy and Josh set the XRV in place and Lorin was there with his KICKER truck for setup. Dan Murphy, Murphco, worked the event each day ensuring our dealers were happy and knew we were there supporting them in the marketplace. All our dealers experienced the BoomRoom and attendees lined up for the BoomRoom experience with 40,000 watts of KICKER power. All in all it was a terrific event.”
The Murphco Can Am, loaded by Morgan Motorsports, was Livin’Loud and Shinin’Loud.
KICKER had a strong presence outside of the booth as well. KICKER partner SSV Works showcased KICKER-equipped side-by-sides plus Gatorwraps was located next to the XRV. Several KICKER dealers also had UTVs on-site, including UTV Stereo, Temecula Motorsports, California Sound and Bert’s Mega Mall inside their pavilion.
Attendees lined up to experience Livin’Loud in the BoomRoom with 40,000 watts of Kicker power.
There were multiple ways to win KICKER prizes during the Super Show. KICKER offered a chance to win a 150-watt PowerBar™ amplified system, which event-goers could enter to win by finding the scannable QR code, at the XRV. The Super Show also gave away a trio of Bullfrog BF100 Outdoor Speakers during the show. Contestants registered by scanning the QR code located on the Super Show map.
COSTA MESA, CA (09.19.22) – The Orange Country Fair and Event Center was the site of the annual Sand Sports Super Show September 16th through 18th. The weather was cool throughout the event but the Powersports category was white-hot for hundreds of exhibitors that showcased their latest products to the crowd of attendees that was forecast to top 25,000.
The Powersports category has had an amazing growth pattern over the last several years among 12volt vendors… both large and small. At the 2022 Sand Sports Super Show a growing number of 12volt vendors exhibited. The 12volt Central Studios’ staff contacted several companies and include highlights of their show activity below. KICKER rolled the 83’ XRV from Stillwater OK to Costa Mesa on the 13th for the 1400 mile trip with Jeremy Wynn behind the wheel and Josh Alexander as the copilot. Company staff members traveled to the event as did Lorin Morrell with Maddog_Media and the KICKER truck. Tracy Focht, Western Regional, was on site from KICKER HQ to work with area rep firm Murphco Sales and area dealers with their SXS creations under the KICKER tents.
In a brief statement from the event on Sunday Focht relayed “The foot traffic has been amazing. It is so awesome to see all the families that take SXS events as a family affair. People were lined to experience the BoomRoom in the XRV and the experience SXS demos in the booth during the day and shined with LED lighting Friday and Saturday nights.”

PowerBass returned to the Sand Sports Super Show with a 40×30 booth that included a SXS demos, products displays and a full staff to spend time attendees in the busy booth. Jeff Falk, National Sales Manager based in Florida, scheduled a trip to the Northwest that included dropping down to California to work the event.
Erik Harbour relayed “It’s not far from our LA area office to the event. Dave, Meny, Raekwon, Jake and I loaded up the truck and set the display up in our booth area on Thursday. We were all set on Friday when the event opened with Jeff, Dave, Rick and myself in the booth. Sarah was in the booth showing all our portable Bluetooth speakers and handing out freebees. Athena, our very popular PowerBass model, was also in the booth for the event. Our product displays show the wide variety on products we offer in the Powersports category and the speaker bar speakers and rack speakers drew a lot of interest.”
The 40×30 PowerBass booth featured SXS demos, product displays and many products to show attendees.
The MTX crew travelled from the Phoenix HQ to set up a very large booth on the grounds. The large MTX trailer and tents with inventory stacked underneath provided an easy booth for attendees to spot on the huge Event Center grounds. Loaded SXS’s in the booth and adjacent to the Polaris building added to drawing attendees to the MTX booth.
The MTX Audio area featured several SXS demos, product displays and inventory stacked to go for attendees.
Jason Planck, Steven Abdelahad, Ceasar Olaes and Jason Fickas were on site and spent the 3 days delivering the MTX message to SXS enthusiasts. Olaes, Regional Sales Manager, related “For MTX this show was better than last. It was great to see so many customers and industry friends.”
The MB Quart booth was set up under a large tent assembly with displays, products stacked and SXS’s for demos. At the event MB Quart showcased the award winning UTV Audio tuned kits that include Polaris RZR, Can Am X3, Polaris General and Ranger, Honda Talon and Universal Kits.

“MB Quart booth certainly had a lot of action on Saturday. We had product displays set up with inventory stacks also. The new Kawasaki build definitely grabbed eyeballs” Eddie Ramirez-RPM, representing MB Quart stated.
SSV Works had a huge display that surrounded the corner of the Costa Mesa Building on the Sand Sports Super Show grounds. Over a half dozen SXS’s plus other demos were set up. At the event SSV Works unveiled the new Phase Q Powersports amplifier destined to set the standard for SXS Audio.
