Race Sport Lighting Released NEW 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL STAGE Light Kits

RINGWOOD, IL (03.22.23) – Race Sport Lighting released their NEW Stage Bundle Kits for the 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL to the industry. This news just months after successfully launching their 2007-2017 Jeep JK STAGE Kits at the SEMA Show in November. Their Stage 1 Road Runner Kit features 6 major external lights in a kit that takes 2-4 hours to install in the bay.  The Stage 2 Trail Runner Kit includes 8 popular LED Jeep lights that install in about 6-8 hours. And lastly, the Stage 3 Zombie King Kit packages a whopping 10 interior and exterior Jeep lights that shops can bill out 9-12 hours of labor to install. These are the perfect solutions for resellers who upfit Jeeps or who are looking to keep it simple and offer lighting packages.

S1JJLK (p/n# 1007701) is the STAGE 1 Kit

S2JJLK (p/n# 1007699) is the STAGE 2 Kit

S3JJLK (p/n# 1007700) is the STAGE 3 Kit

This is a dealer driven product and Race Sport Lighting has already been getting amazing feedback. Dealers who upfit Jeeps communicated, whether it’s a lift kit, an exhaust kit, or alike, that it’s easy for their sales counter guys to sell a 1-2-3 option to the customer instead of putting together a lighting system piece by piece. The sales counter person will simply show the 3 options, give them the 3 prices for package + labor, and the customer will make a choice.

“After successfully launching the STAGE Kits for the 2007-2017 Jeep JK, it was mandatory to get to work and launch the 2018+ Jeep JL STAGE kits as well. The moment we started announcing the Jeep JK kits, dealers were eager to inquire about when the 2018+ JEEP JL version is coming out. The resellers drove this product to the marketplace to make the checkout experience much easier. It also makes it easier to quote labor and make sure their shops make a lot of profit selling a Jeep Lighting Stage kit.” says Steven Jergensen, President of Race Sport Lighting.

The Race Sport Lighting Jeep Stage Kits are in stock and shipping now out of their Midwest warehouse. The current packages are for the Jeep Wrangler JK and JL vehicles, but they will be releasing the Jeep Gladiator and Ford Bronco Kit packages soon.

Wet Sounds Unveils a Concept Vehicle at MasterTech 2023

MESA, AZ (03.07.23) – Wet Sounds has taken a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and modified it to house a full Wet Sounds audio system that is on display at MasterTech. This concept is to appeal to the Jeep and aftermarket community as a plug-and-play system as these owners are seen to modify their vehicles for off-road applications. This vehicle is equipped with: 1x SYN-DX6-DSP 6 channel marine amplifier, 1 SYN-DX4-DSP 4 channel marine amplifier, 4x ZERO Series 6 6” high-output coaxial speakers, 2x ZERO Series 12 XZ 12” sealed enclosure subwoofers, and 2x REV 12 HD 12” marine tower speakers.

This concept vehicle has all new, never before seen modifications. The entire kit utilizes the factory mounting locations. There is no cutting or modification of the vehicle. New speaker grilles were created that integrate into the factory mounting locations. The design matches the aesthetics of the factory interior. The goal was to make it easier for the user to install and reveal a seamless installation. ZERO Series component speakers were created specifically for the Jeep to be able to sit stylishly in the dash.

DSP Amplifiers were used so that the ZERO Series speakers could be optimized for the vehicle. This DSP tune, specified for this Jeep Wrangler, will sound the best that it can, right out of the box. A roto-mold enclosure was designed to house 2x ZERO Series 12” subwoofers and the amplifiers to set at the base of the back trunk area. This enclosure still provides enough airspace around the amplifiers for heat dissipation.

To mount the REV 12 HD tower speakers, aluminum mounting brackets were built to utilize the factory threaded mounts on the roll bar. These tower brackets are currently only designed for a hard top Jeep, but there are future designs in the works. A new wiring harness was designed specifically for Jeep vehicles and it is compatible with any aftermarket radio or OEM integration pieces. For user discretion, a tower and subwoofer master control unit was added to the center console.

The Team Nutz crew from Pittsburgh-Ed, Ben and Tom- attended the Wet Sounds training presented by Carl Campbell on Monday evening.

This plug-and-play design was created in hopes to appeal to the Jeep and aftermarket community that would be a simple upgrade option or add on, making it more available to buyers.

Wet Sounds hosted a Training Session at MasterTech on Monday, 3/6 called “Marine Tips & Tricks You Wish You Knew”.

Carl Campbell, Wet Sounds National Training Director, supplied the images and information for the onsite MasterTech Expo images.
