SEATTLE, WA (05.13.22) – The 2022 Pacific Northwest Mobile Electronics Expo, featuring Mobile Electronics, rolled Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 9th-11th, at the Doubletree by Hilton at South Center in Seattle, WA. Officially this was the ninth event which followed a two year hiatus due to COVID 19.

Mark Giovannetti, Pacific Rim Marketing, and Dan McMillan In Phase Marketing spearheaded the very well attended event. Valentina Giovannetti contributed greatly behind the scenes.
Mark Giovanetti related “During the event we received such positive comments from all industry segments on site. During the move out, which went smoothly, Dan and I received even more positive input. Many exhibitors asking about plans for 2023. Valentina Giovannetti polled all 35 exhibitors and the event was wrapping and all offered high marks.

This year the event kicked off with a special Monday evening launch event themed ‘Harley Davidson Audio Install Deconstruction’ presented by Sam Walker and Ryan Klein. Walker related “We had right at 40 in the room for our session. We had the Road Glide ‘deconstructed’ so we could go through each element of doing a motorcycle installation the right way. Attendees spent time checking out the bike and asking questions about various elements of the installation. Ryan answered a lot of questions about the sales process on the retail sales floor. Doing this in the future we will probably have a second session geared to the retail sales for and pricing installation labor.” Following the session the Road Glide, still deconstructed, was placed on the event floor for more visibility.

Tuesday and Wednesday’s action featured factory and industry training events. Trainings began at 9 AM in rooms off the show floor. The Expo Showroom opened at 10AM both days with over 35 vendors displaying their latest products.
On Thursday McMillan had lunch with area retailer Car Toys and the Compustar team. “Both of them said they were very pleased with the turnout and information that was disseminated. They indicated is was a win for vendors and retailers alike. The JL Audio Max training was a hit too. There was a total of 68 who attended their event.”

On Tuesday Travis Chin, from IASCA, was on site. Dealers and their customers cranked up their rides for a TEST THE BEST event outside with Travis judging the entries. A special attraction was System Unlimited’s Charles Maddy showing the beautiful work on a customer’s Ferrari Roma. The Doubletree provided a large outdoor space for this activity that gave attendees plenty of space to check out the sound systems.
